Chris Dufour is a Structural Consultant with KC Pier who brings valuable hands-on production and field management experience to every homeowner consultation. Raised in Kansas City, Chris understands the foundation movement, basement water intrusion and drainage problems commonly found in homes throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Chris began his KC Pier career working in field production, performing foundation repair and waterproofing work under, around and alongside residential foundations. He later advanced into the role of Field Production Manager, where he helped oversee repair crews, coordinate projects and ensure that KC Pier’s foundation and waterproofing systems were installed properly.

After building his knowledge in production and field leadership, Chris transitioned into foundation evaluation and homeowner consultation. Because he has personally worked on foundation repairs, he understands how proposed solutions are installed and how they must perform once the work is complete. This experience allows him to look beyond visible symptoms, assess the likely cause of a problem and recommend a practical solution designed for the home.

Chris enjoys working directly with homeowners, clearly explaining his findings and helping them understand their foundation repair, basement waterproofing and drainage options. As a member of the KC Pier family, he takes pride in providing honest evaluations and helping Kansas City homeowners find lasting solutions for their properties.
