Brian Dufour

Brian Dufour is Co-Owner and Director of Operations at KC Pier, bringing 24 years of professional foundation repair experience to the company. Born and raised in Kansas City, Brian has spent his entire professional career assessing foundation problems, developing repair solutions and helping homeowners protect their properties.

Brian’s experience spans nearly every part of the foundation repair industry. He began with hands-on production work, learning how foundation repairs are installed in the field and how soil conditions, water pressure, drainage and construction methods affect a home. He later advanced into foundation evaluation and sales before moving into operational leadership.

Before joining KC Pier, Brian gained national foundation repair experience with Olshan Foundation Solutions and served homeowners throughout Kansas City and the broader Midwest with PierMagic Foundation Specialists. Working across different markets, homes and soil conditions gave Brian extensive exposure to foundation settlement, bowed and cracked walls, basement water intrusion, crawl space problems and other structural concerns.

At KC Pier, Brian oversees production, project planning, employee training, quality control, equipment, scheduling and field operations. His combined production, evaluation, sales and management experience allows him to understand the complete life cycle of a foundation repair, from identifying the source of a problem and designing an appropriate solution through installation and final quality review.

Brian has evaluated, managed or participated in thousands of foundation repair and waterproofing projects during his career. His practical field knowledge helps KC Pier provide Kansas City homeowners with clear evaluations, properly designed repairs and solutions intended to perform for the long term.

Brian is also Co-Founder of KC Mudjack, a Kansas City concrete lifting and leveling company specializing in polyurethane concrete lifting. His foundation and soil experience helps connect concrete settlement with the underlying drainage, soil and structural conditions that may be contributing to the problem.

Away from work, Brian enjoys golfing, fishing, playing volleyball and playing basketball. As a lifelong Kansas City resident, he takes pride in helping homeowners throughout his hometown and the surrounding Kansas and Missouri communities.
